So what the hell?

This blog was at some point and time a blog that at least a couple of people read back when it was on the PRL. For a short time it existed over at TheRevoltPress. That however had some drama involved so I cut that relationship on the matter of my blog.
The real reason this took so long is that last June I fell off a fence and broke my L2 and my Coccyx. There is nothing like breaking your spine to set you back a bit. I can say with some honesty that although I have bad days full of stupid to dull and constant pain that I am now able to get around pretty well and do most of the things I used to be able to do.
However, this lull in activity has allowed me to read more than I have been able to before. I have always been someone that enjoys experience more than security, and even though I was always an avid reader, I tended to view reading as a "secondary" experience to thinking and doing. I think I have changed in that regard.
I think that change will help me make this a little more interesting than the old Paincourt.Or maybe not. I also think the old Paincourt will be where I deposit what I can find of my other work that I still have copies of.

In other news:

I will finally be trying to finish off the Cheeseberger page. I hope to have almost every single song up there except those that were on the Laterax cd. You can find them elsewhere. I am still using the same old design that Jim (Cameleopard) came up with - so thanks Jim!

And last but least, I am going to try to PDF all of the old zine SPORE in respect of some old pals. That will have its own site of course.

Interesting acreage total for the US of A

"The total land area of the United States is 2.3 billion acres. Of this, about 650 million acres (28.8 per cent) is forested. Another 586 million acres (25.9 per cent) is grassland pasture and range land. “Special uses” account for 525 million acres (23.3 per cent), and the vast majority of this land is natural; state and national parks, wilderness areas and wildlife refuges for the most part. Adding these three figures together, we see that about 78 percent of all the land in the United States is undeveloped. A further 442 million acres (19.5 per cent) is farmland. Adding farmland to the above figure, we can conclude that 97.5 percent of the nation is either undeveloped land, or used to grow crops. The remaining 2.5 per cent is urban area. It puts the word “sprawl” in a little different perspective, doesn’t it?"

I like factoids.

This is the real first post

Imagine for a second that I care about you. Imagine that you care about me. Now what do you taste in your mouth? Is that shit? More to the point, is it Bullshit? I'd imagine so, this is the internet - you don't know me - nor will you ever really know me.

This will be the continuation of Pain Court. Pain Court originally appeared on the website Pataphysics Research Laboratory. Then briefly again in other places that were soon removed. Here, Pain Court has found a good home that should last until it literally dies a physical death.

Blog "B", is where you can find "older" posts if you are so interested.
